Wacky's Sudbury, a beloved family restaurant located at 187 Shaughnessy St, has established itself as a cornerstone of community dining in Sudbury. As patrons like Keiran Geverding lament the impending closure in March, it's clear that the restaurant has created an atmosphere filled with warmth and camaraderie. Customers praise the welcoming staff, who prioritize genuine service over profits, fostering a sense of belonging that resonates deeply with visitors.
The menu impresses with diverse offerings; Catherine West highlights the well-crafted Greek Wrap and the vibrant Southwest Taco Salad, both of which boast fresh ingredients and delightful flavors. The cozy, cottage-like ambiance makes Wacky's a great spot to unwind after a drive, and Ava Wakagijig notes the efficient service, making dining here both pleasurable and prompt.
Despite the noise typical of a bustling eatery, families and friends find it an ideal locale for gatherings and celebrations. Mason Sivret expresses the collective sentiment, urging the establishment to remain open—an appeal echoed by many who cherish the restaurant's unique vibe and top-notch food. Wacky's Sudbury will surely be missed, yet it leaves behind cherished memories and a legacy of community connection through food.

It's such a shame this place is closing in March; it's had the best atmosphere in Sudbury. Hoping the owners find a new spot soon.

Was the best bar to hangout Downtown... staff actually made you feel welcome and safe and actually cared about good service not just money! Real shame The City decided to get rid of it. They want more people Downtown but then get rid of the best hangout sopt??????

Had Summer as our waitress and she was phenomenal. Friendly. The restaurant had a warm and welcoming atmosphere. With a cozy cottage vibe. Menu has a vast array of choices. We chose the Greek wrap, and Southwest taco Salad. The Greek Wrap was delicious, with its crisp romaine and fresh tomatoes paired nicely with chicken and red onions. The feta cheese and dressing brought it all together. Mom had the salad, brought out in a Tortilla Bowl, crisp romaine lettuce, montery jack cheese, tomatoes, green onions, crispy tortilla strips, mixed all together with a South West ranch dressing. Both meals were amazing. And a great place to stop after a 3 hours and bit drive. 10/10 would eat here again.

I loved the food, and the wait time was about 10 minutes, and the starters came quickly also. The service is good, my waitress was kind and he was a good listener. quite noisy, but great place to come with families or celebrating.

We live in Oshawa and I really wish we had a Wacky Wings here. It would do so well here with us having the university and Durham College. I have not stopped talking about Wacky Wings. I tell everyone. If you ever expand to Southern Ontario I would love to run the restaurant. I know the perfect people to be servers as well. PLEASE IF YOU EVER THINK ABOUT EXPANDING THINK OF OSHAWA. This is the best restaurant I've been to in a very long time. Vanessa was absolutely amazing.

I went with my daughter and I got a burger and she got the poutine with wings . She didn't like the poutine because there was too many flavors. The waiter was very observant, and noticed right away something was off. He offered her something different (mac and cheese ) and took the poutine off our order. He was very observant, extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. I forget his name but he's a man who had a ponytail. I don't often give waiters a five-star rating, or any place really, but I give this waiter a five-star rating. Give him a raise! Love the arcade aswell. I had a birthday party here with my daughter and it was awesome!

I love wackys, one of the best places to go with the family or with friends. I've been there several times and will continue to visit in the future. I like that's one of the very few places that is open till late in the city, that's definitely one of the best things of the place. I also like their gaming machine, classic sane games to play with your kids or with friends. Some of these stuff are hard to find, since this type of fun is from our old days, lol. The food: I have tried different plates, however; I've stick to their wings, they are just delicious! Literally over hundred of sauce options! With time I've discovered my favorites like Applewood BBQ, drunken BBQ, cheddar or I just combine some of my favorite too. Their purine is also decent. Price overal is okay. I normally spend 76 (tax and 15% tip included) and we normally order 2 beers, 24 wings and 2 sides. Service is also very good. The staff is always kind and take good care.
